Curb skating is usually at the very start of one’s life as a skateboarder, but along the way they get forgotten and neglected, as you may start skating actual ledges and stairs and so forth, but they always come back (the curbs), almost like they never left, patiently waiting for your embrace. In the early days of skating as well, curb skating was the epitome of street skating, I’m talking’ Daewon Song Love Child days, oh how I wish I were there. There’s this feeling when skating curbs that truly cannot be matched with any thing else. Skating curbs, doing slappies, doing tricks either on or off the curb may just be the most fun ever, proving the cliche’ Less Is More to be more factual than people believe it to be.
A great example of some good ‘ol curb skating is this video of Sebo Walker (also the newest pro for Krooked, congrats yo!).
