A little rain shouldn’t discourage a person from going skating. It isn’t the end of the world, even if it may feel like so. Although this post may completely contradict my last, skating in the rain may not be so bad, if your desire to skate at that moment is strong enough it’ll push you through. Daewon Song skated in water, and that was voluntary! He didn’t even have to skate in the water, everywhere else around him was dry, but he decided to take a dip. Maybe because skating on the dry concrete was no longer challenging, so he had to venture out to another element (but that is beside the point). So instead of seeing it as “It’s raining and skating isn’t possible,” you could see it as “It’s raining, making skating more of a challenge, which is what I need!” A good change of thought, right?
Point being: if Daewon can do it, so can you. So go out there! Rain, sleet, hail, snow, tornadoes, hurricane, earthquakes, war, et cetera. Doesn’t matter, GO SKATE.
